We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2023, at the age of 85, Dan Gordon Mooring (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wayne County, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Vick Mooring; and his siblings, Ray Mooring, Durwood Mooring, Helen Aycock, Charles Mooring, John "Pete" Mooring and Harold Mooring.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Barnes Mooring; his children, Carol Mooring Colvin (Richard), Connie Mooring Overby (Craig) and Alan Gordon Mooring; his grandchildren, Troy, Brett, Chad, Kyle, Rachel, Tanner, Wilson, Ainsley, Mason and Amelia; and his siblings, Wilma Monson, Billy Mooring, Ronald Mooring and Richard Mooring. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
