He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Jean and Robert Gene; his brother Duane Alan; and his niece Heather Keene. He is survived by: his brother Darren Ray (Cindy); his children, Kristen Elisa, Darryl Lee Jr. and Leah Marie Hauck; and his nieces and nephews, Emily, Meghan, Brooke, Duane Jr. and Darren Jr.. He is also survived by 7 granddaughters.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Darrens Home (1778 Hood Swamp Rd, La Grange, NC 28551).
