She is survived by: her children, Natalie Newman Garris (Joel Franklin Garris) and James Michael Newman (Mary Talbert Newman); her grandchildren, Natalie Noel Garris, Joel Franklin "Joah" Garris, II, Grace Talbert Newman, Jane Hope Newman and Sara Mae Newman; her sister Gail Herring (Randal); and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Wilson (Dennis) and Diana Ellis. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
