We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 75, Donald Shirrell Jackson (Goldsboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Bass Jackson; his son-in-law Jamie Capps; and his brother Woodley Jackson. He is survived by: his father Walter Woodley Jackson; his wife Patricia Daniels Jackson; his daughter Trisha Jackson Capps; his grandsons, Matt Jackson (Paige) and Noah Capps; his great grandchildren, Presley Jackson and Marley Jackson; his sisters, Janice Carter, Carol Brumberg and Alice Whitley; and his siblings-in-law, Linda D. Sutton and Delbert Daniels. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirrell's memory to New Hope Friends Church, 4451 U.S. Hwy. 70 East, Goldsboro, NC 27534, or to Gentiva Hospice, 2309 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
