With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Worrells of Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Alexander; her husband Albert Lee Worrells Sr.; and her son Charles Earl Worrells. She is survived by: her children, Albert Worrells Jr., Pastor Anthony Worrells, Bishop Joseph Worrells, Michael Worrells, Doris Marie Coley, Elaine Worrells and Felicia Carmon; and her siblings, Linwood Brinson, Calvin Brinson, Richard Brinson, Stephen Reginald Brinson, Leslie Davis, Dr. Jerrelle Jones, Mary Turner, Virginia Turner, Velma Knight and Vivian Morrisey (Annie Davis). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Due to Covid-19, a private family graveside service will be held on Tuesday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Dudley.
