He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Lee and Laura James Johnson; his wife Hilda Johnson; and his brother Perry Johnson. He is survived by : his son Charlie Johnson (Rita) of Pikeville; his foster son Douglas Ray Goff; his siblings, Jesse Johnson (Kathy) of Goldsboro, Edith Colmore (Don) and Jackie Eakes of Goldsboro; and his grandchildren, Kelly Johnson (Jennifer) and Andrew Johnson.
