She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jacobs, Sr. and Grace Lee Newsome; and her siblings, James Newsome, Mary Harvey, Clarence Jacobs, Jr., Cynthia Washington and Linwood Earl Jacobs.
She is survived by: her husband Alton Ray McClarin; her sons, Mac Carlton McClarin (Ruby) and Gregory Keith McClarin (Danielle); her grandchildren, Lavisha Pelaez, Beonee McClarin Allen, Sydni McClarin, Amira McClarin and Jared Dubious; and her siblings, Constance Lesesene, Sharon Flanagan, Shirley Jones, Benjamin Newsome, Peggy Looper and Gwendolyn Coghill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
