With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Blackmon Kopac (Goldsboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2025 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lennie and Sudie Daughtry Blackmon; her husband Nick Edward Kopac; her son Jack Michael O'Conner; her son-in-law Billy Hall; and her brother Jack Blackman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Hall and Kathy Smith (Ray); her grandchildren, Ronald Sills, Lisa Stancill (Gene), Lynn Smith, Steve Wiggins (Kim), Karen Kearney (David), Michael Wiggins, Ashley Korba (Christian) and Marvin Sills; and her nephew Richard Carpenter (Janet). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
