He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sager and Edna Jones Sager; his wife Dolores Parsons Sager; and his sister Imogene Harris. He is survived by: his children, David Arthur Sager (Catherine) of Goldsboro, NC and Debra Ann Kornegay (David) of Hillsborough, NC.; his grandson Jacob David Kornegay (Megan); his daughter LeeAnn Sager Meyers (Josh) of Pikeville, NC; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Meyers of Pikeville, NC and Charles David Kornegay of Raleigh, NC..
