She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Sasser and Emma Sasser; her husband Jarvis McKeel; and her siblings, Nellie Sasser and R. A. Sasser.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay (Judy Gretsch) and Dale (Julie); her grandchildren, Nathan (Elizabeth) and Colleen (Hannah Scruggs); her great grandchild Charlotte; and her sister Mary Lee Fulghum. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
