She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeb Lancaster and Alene Lancaster; her husband Joe Richard Grimes, Sr.; her children, Penny Alene Grimes and Joe Richard Grimes, Jr.; and her siblings, Zeb Lancaster, Jr., Ralph Lancaster, Clifton Lancaster, Lynn Lancaster, Ray Lancaster and Mary Alice Ham.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Carol Clark of New Bern, Alice Woodard of Pikeville, Vicki Mozingo of Goldsboro and Shannon Grimes (Angela) of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Dana Woodard, Jr. (Jennifer), Danielle Clark Ward (Richie), Kayla Bays and Dalton Thompson; her great grandchildren, Taylor Woodard, Logan Woodard, Landon Woodard, Conner McKinney, Mattie McKinney, Rylee Jo Koonce, Easton Ward, Aaron Bays and Haisley; and her siblings, Wade Lancaster, Peggy Rhew and Joan Kearney.
