Floyd Howell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Floyd Howell (Goldsboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarvis Howell and Anna Howell; his wife Betty Howell; his children, Phyllis Jones and Dexter Howell; his son-in-law Gene Spainhour; and his siblings, Mattie Underwood, Lloyd Howell, Norwood Howell, JB Howell and Bobby Howell.

He is survived by: his daughter Beth Spainhour; his sister Dorothy Ham; and his children-in-law, Tim Jones and Joan Howell. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
