With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Deans of Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John Samuel and Mary Elizabeth George Lynch; her husband Kermit Samuel Deans; and her siblings, Lawrence Lynch (Rachel), Norman Lynch Nellie Howard (Odell), Mildred Herring (Gump), Little Jack Lynch, Andrew Lynch, Mary Adelia Casey (Barney), Gene Lynch (Anna Bell), Clyde Lynch (Rose) and Billy Mac Lynch (Jean).
She is survived by : her children, Jeff Deans (Kim) of Wilmington, Timothy "Tim" Deans (Wanda) of Goldsboro and Mary Elizabeth Deans Bass (Beth) of Charlottesville, Virginia; her grandchildren, Stephanie Snider (Jim) of Charlottesville, VA, Lindsay Deans of Greenville, NC, Matt Deans of Miami, FL, Blair Byrnside (Brendan) of Cary, NC and Nick Deans of Wilmington, NC; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Snider, Mabel Byrnside and Amelia Byrnside. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
