He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ransom Toler and Leona McFatter Toler; his parents-in-law, Thurman and Gladys Toler; and his siblings, Pearl McFatter (Alex), Billy Ray Toler, Melvin Toler, Rosa Lee Jinnette (Jimmy), Norma Williford (Randal) and Nancy Cleo Cruse (Earl).
He is survived by: his son Junior; his wife Shirley Toler; his daughter April Holland (Kirk) of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, JC Toler (Gracie), Bobby Holland (Hannah), Timothy Holland, Chelsea Keith (Matthew), Haley Pearson, Collin Pearson, Todd Toler, Kiera Diaz, Jayden Molina, Cole Patterson, Jayden Toler, Connor Patterson, Emma Toler and Laettner Toler; his great grandchild Sherman Pearson; his sister Barbara Murphy (Craig); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Toler and Mary Toler.
