He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his daughters, Jennifer Pope Hart of Goldsboro and Karen Pope Radford (David) of Goldsboro; his siblings, Harold Pope (Terry) of Macclesfield, Janet Taylor of Lucama and Linda Jones of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Megan Floars (Brad), Logan Hart, Gracyn Hart and Shelby Radford; and his great grandchildren, Hailynn Floars and Laiken Floars.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). The military honors will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (164 Longs Plant Farm Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
