He was predeceased by: his parents, Robie Elon Phillips, Sr. and Alice Verna Hall Phillips; and his siblings, Mary Joyce Leonard and Robie Phillips, Jr. (Gladys Maples Phillips). He is survived by: his wife Gladys Maples Phillips; his children, Glenn Franklin Phillips Jr. (Allyson) and Jerry Carlton Phillips (Donna); his grandsons, Joshua Glenn Phillips (Renee), Robert Wilson Phillips (Nickie) and Zachary Davis Phillips (Liza); and his great grandchildren, Landon Grey Phillips, Lottie Maples Phillips, Tillie Evelyn Phillips and Callie Harper Phillips. He is also survived by father who loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
