It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Matthew Herring (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Anne Stocks of Goldsboro, Lisa Herring of Goldsboro, Kenneth Herring of Goldsboro and Glenn Herring of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Leigh Tillman, David Stocks, Jennifer Stocks and Kathy Merritt; his great grandchildren, Leiren Tillman, Matthew Tillman, Hunter Tillman, Travis Merritt, Brandon Merritt, Chel Stocks Alexander, Schoen Stocks, Annette Stocks and Kristen Stocks; and his son Jimmy Herring. He is also survived by three sisters, and two brothers.
