He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold T. Moen and Verna Sanner Moen Wollin; and his wife Inez Sasser Moen. He is survived by: his children, Todd Moen (Lindsay) of Pikeville and Andrea Medlin (Todd) of Fuquay-Varina; his siblings, Kay Huber of Surprise, Arizona, Henry Moen of Bemidji and Owen Moen of Minnetonka, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Chase Moen, Ava Moen and Jacob Medlin.

Flowers are welcome or in lieu, memorial contributions may be made to Nahunta Friends Church: 2537 NC Hwy 581 North, Pikeville, NC 27863.
