It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Wood of Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Bradwell and Lessie Bass; her husband Jimmie "Woody" Wood; and her stepfather Thomas Tew. She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Wood (Lisa), Scot Wood (Crystal) and Terri Wood; her grandchildren, Christopher Wood, Haylee Wood Morris (Curry), Hannah Wood Britt (Cody), Heather Childers, Michael Spaxman (Jessa), Ashley Pigford (Julius) and Bradley Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Britt, Samuel Morris, Asher Childers, Natalie Morris, Evelyn Rae Morris, Alva Spaxman, Clea Spaxman, Unique Marshall, Jadyn Marshall and Destiny Marshall.
