He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lockhart and Sylvia Lewis Lockhart; and his brother Charles Lockhart. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Rhodes Lockhart; his daughters, Lisa Robertson (Rodger) and Dawn Whitlow; his stepson Brad Maston (Julia); his siblings, Annette Looney, Judy Boroski and Eugene "Buster" Lockhart; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Howell (Tim V.) and Philip Rhodes (Sonya). He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
