James Sharpe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sharpe of Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sharpe to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Sharpe and Linnie Mae Thompson Sharpe; and his significant other Wilma Sharpe. He is survived by: his children, Stoney Sharpe (Seleia) of Dudley, Richard Sharpe (Suzanne) of High Rolls, Vickie Lynn Horne (Mihlon) of Dudley, Sheila Kay Sharpe and Wanda Tyndall of Goldsboro; his sisters, Dola Saylor (Clarence) of Fleming and Janet Cook of Middleburg, Florida; and his grandchildren, Shannon Baker, Preston Sharpe, Amity Sharpe, Heather Sharpe, Jonathan Paim and Alek Sharpe. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorial contributions to be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in Fayetteville in Jim's honor.
