He was predeceased by: his father Jammy Birchum. He is survived by: his mother Kim Benson Birchum; his wife Kristy Steadman Birchum; his children, Emily Birchum and Elijah Birchum; and his siblings, Jeremiah Birchum (Tiffany), Jamison Birchum (Kaitlyn) and Jessica Birchum (Maranda).
