She was predeceased by: her son Maurice Douglas Townsend. She is survived by: her children, Corey Townsend of Goldsboro and Adrienne Townsend Greene of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Quamaria Greene (Shaneka), Rictaveon Greene (Michela), Maurice Douglas Townsend II and Mychal E. Townsend; and her great grandchild Kalliope Arianne Greene.
