He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pierce Brogden and Addie Sasser Brogden; his wife Barbara Barefoot Brogden; and his siblings, Russell Brogden and Bonnie Brogden Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Kaye Brogden Harrell (Dannie), Marty Brogden (Ann) and Jeff Brogden (Mindy); his grandchildren, Shawn Brogden, Beth Lane (Matthew) and Tim Harrell; and his great grandchildren, Kia Lane, Kaiya Lane and Landon Harrell.
