He is survived by: his sons, Joseph I. Spruill of Goldsboro, Antonio M. Spruill (Zahara) of Goldsboro and Matthew J. Spruill of Goldsboro; and his sister-in-law Gwendolyn Spruill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other extended family members, dear friends.
