He is survived by: his wife Betty Sloan Pate; his daughter Leigh Ann Pate Kasin (Stuart); his grandson Benjamin Kasin; his siblings, Martie Pate McCall (Randy) and Morris Banks Pate (Charlene); his brother-in-law Donald Sloan (Leona); his nieces and nephews, Alan McCall (Alyssa), Tyler McCall (Brittany), Leslie Oakes (Jon), Emily Leidecker (Jared) and Rhianna Sloan; and his pet Scooter.
