He is survived by: his children, Johanna Henderson Reese (Charles) of Cary, Amy Henderson Hoglund (Tyler) of Raleigh and Douglas Leonard Henderson (Kathryn) of Durham; his grandchildren, Cameron Reese, James Hoglund, Daniel Reese, Virginia Hoglund, Edith Henderson and Reid Henderson; and his sister Alice Henderson Dickson (James) of Waxhaw. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
