He was predeceased by : his father William Mitchell Heeden, Jr. (John). He is survived by : his mother Sharon Barbour Heeden; his wife Kimberly Renee of Mary's Church; his children, Taylor Heeden Larkins (James), Connor and Anna; and his siblings, Michelle King (Wayne), William M. Heeden III and Michael Heeden (Heather). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church (1603 Edgerton St, Goldsboro, NC 27530).
