He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Rollins and Maude Rollins; his wife Brenda Mooring Rollins; and his siblings, Robert Rollins, Albert Rollins, Lloyd Rollins, Thurston Rollins, Willie Rollins, Edna Wells, Lillie Parrucci and Rachel Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Hare (Jimmy) and Alison Syverson (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica Hare Pate (Adam), Matthew James Hare and Gavin Clark Syverson; and his great grandchildren, Lainey Pate, Easton Pate and Knox Pate. He is also survived by brother-in-law and several sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe's memory to Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 1080 Gurley Dairy Road, Pikeville, NC 27863.
