She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Benton; her parents, Henry Sauls and Ora Lee Sauls; her siblings, Melvin Sauls and Carol Evans; and her pets, Zach and Spanky.

She is survived by: her son Marty Barnes (Tonia Barnes); her sister Sandra Pridgen; and her sister-in-law Clara Sauls.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Eureka Cemetery.
