She is survived by : her husband Dwayne Lee; her children, Courtney Butler (Chandler Gentry), Whitley Butler, Hannah Hood (Garrett) and Gavin Lee; her brothers, Richard Reed and Joe Reed; and her pets, Maisey, Willow and Maverick.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Julie's memory to Gentiva Hospice, 2309 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
