He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramsey Ellis Hale and Ruby Minton Hale; and his brother Myron Hale. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hale; his daughter Emily Hale Pettit (Todd); his friends, Judy McDougald and Mike Tracey; and his pet Janie.
