With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laurie Ann Miller Smith of Goldsboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin "Benny" Smith, Jr.; and her parents, Lawrence R. Miller and Ann T. Miller. She is survived by: her children, Leigh Smith Harris (Robert) of Dover and Ben Smith (Christie) of Goldsboro; and her grandchildren, Jessica Grace Harris, Noah Robert Harris, Laurie Shiloh Harris, Anna Lee Smith Barnes (Austin), Benjamin Smith, IV and Myra Skinner.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 S U. S. 117 Alt Hwy, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A reception will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Home of Laurie Ann Miller Smith (107 Torhunta Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
