She was predeceased by: her parents, Glennie Langston and Kirby Rouse; her sons, Michael Griffin and Larry Griffin; and her granddaughter Qualishasha L. Griffin.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Griffin II; her children, Cynthia Williams (Willie) and Richard Griffin III; and her grandchildren, Jenice Hutchinson (Kennard) and Temele (Tasha). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great- Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel (1215 Royall Ave, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Guiding Star Holy Church (1114 S Slocumb St, Goldsboro, NC 27530).
