She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry Swift Walker Sr. and Sally Barwick Walker; her husband Cornelius Hobbs; her children, Jeff Hobbs, Greg Hobbs, Cathy Hobbs Waters and Connie Hobbs; her sister Faye Sutton; her son-in-law Bill Waters; her siblings, Helen Wise, Marjorie Crawford, Kenneth Walker, Lyman Walker, Berry Walker Jr. and Max Walker; and her brother-in-law C. J. Hobbs.
She is survived by: her son Randy Hobbs (MaryAnn) of Tennessee; her sister Shirley Lawrence of Goldsboro; her sisters-in-law, Betty Walker of Goldsboro and Barbra Walker of Goldsboro; and her daughters-in-law, Kim Hobbs of Goldsboro and Connie Hobbs of La Grange. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
