He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Godwin and Ann McSweeney Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lawrence Godwin; his sons, Brandon and Cody Godwin; his brothers, Dennis and Roy Godwin; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Lawrence (Sandra) and Chuck Lawrence (Carmen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
