She is survived by: her husband James Ephraim Godfrey; her daughters, Leigh Allison Godfrey (David R. White, Jr.) and Karen Lynn Nielsen; her grandchildren, Camille Godfrey Webber (Bora Tunca), James Emlyn Parker Webber (Lily Schultz), Jackson Davis Hartley, Hudson Edward Hartley, Emersyn Grace Hartley, Jennifer Jill Ferich (Steve Ferich) and Matthew David White (Penny White); her great grandchildren, Cora Matthew Webber, Sophie Ann Ferich, Atlas Webber Tunca, Dawn Elizabeth Ferich and Brodie Schultz Webber; her sister Sylvia Jane Smith Ingalls (Grady Lee Ingalls); and her son-in-law Eddie Glenn Hartley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their children.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889).
