She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wade and Cora Wade; her husband Howard Clarence Gerken; her grandson Cameron John Gerken; and her siblings, Cleo Wade Creech, Hilda Wade Edmundson, Durwood Wade, Wilson Wade and Warren Wade.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Ray Thomas (Deb), Jeffrey Wade Thomas (Debbie Lynn), Mark Haywood Thomas (Tracy) and John Howard Gerken; and her grandchildren, Keli Gerken, Katlyn Gerken, Kourtni Gerken, James Caleb Thomas, Rebekah Thomas, Miranda Johnston, Tiffany Thomas and Shane Thomas. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
