The memory of Randy Peele Fields (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his father William Blaney Fields; his nephew Forrest Pope; and his friend Dennis Collier. He is survived by: his mother Rachel Peele Fields of Pikeville; his wife Kathie Pittman Fields; his sons, Randall Fields (Leah) and Ryan Fields (Amanda); his grandchildren, Abigail Fields, Alex Fields, Will Fields and Teddy Fields; his sisters, Suzanne Pope (Greg) and Nina Jackson (Keith); and his nieces, Carmen Pope Stanley (Mark) and Rachel Jackson Woods (Colton).
The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fields Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Randy's memory to Nahunta Friends Church, 2537 N.C. Hwy. 581 North, Pikeville, NC 27863.
