He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Adolph and Mary Elizabeth Sullivan Perry; his sisters, Vernell Lipscomb, Joyce McHale, Wanda Heath and Cindy Creech; and his close friend Teresa Williamson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Rivenbark (Shannan) of Goldsboro, Elizabeth A. King (Donnie) of Goldsboro and Susan Gala (Tony) of Trinity; and his close friends, Shirley Williams and Mike Jones. He is also survived by three grandchildren three great-grandchildren.
