He was predeceased by: his father Joe Rankin. He is survived by: his wife Eva Ann Gurley Rankin; his children, Rebecca Wyatt, David Rankin, Dale Rankin (Kim), Kenny Rankin (Mary Ann), Jeanette Parsley, Dianne Kinder (Jimmy) and Barbara Aniba (Harry); his stepson Timothy Lupton; his sister Shirley Brown (Thomas); his niece Christie Clarke (Christopher Clarke); Parker Clarke. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
