As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Ruby may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Oates and Mattie Mae Oates Wolfe; her children, Betty Oates (David) of Goldsboro, NC, Charles Boseman, Sr. (Jamesetta) of Riverdale, MD and Michael Boseman (Diane) of Dudley, NC; and her siblings, Dr. Adam Keith Wolfe (Lorise) of Bowie, MD, Nadine Oates, Evangelist Peggy Anderson of Elizabeth, NJ and Evangelist Joyce Davis of Baltimore, MD. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Garris Funeral Home (812 SW Center St, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goshen Disciple Church (7120 Suttontown Rd, Faison, NC 28341). A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery.
