He was predeceased by: his parents, David Marshall Spruill and Ellen Woodward Mason. He is survived by: his sister Suzanne Harrington (Paul) of Greenville; his niece Olivia Harrington of Greenville; and his stepfather Phil Mason of Swan Quarter.
