He is survived by: his wife Alice Kenan; his children, Laura Crudup (Brandon), Trachelle Kenan, James Andrew Hershberger, Ladaryenne Smith, Tremaine Smith (Talmesha) and Ahkeem Smith; his siblings, Juno Kenan, Tabitha Ragland (Christopher), Tamara Pittman, Sherwood Philyaw, Terrance Pittman and Sean Powell; his niece Talarie Kenan; and his grandchildren, Carter Smith and Noah Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
