He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morawski and Helen Morawski. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Douglas Morawski, Michael George Morawski (Pam) and Mark Edward Morawski (Reagan); his sister Theresa Gregory (John); and his nephew Jeff Root. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
