We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 71, Terri Lee Sasser (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wayne County, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Thomas and Dora Adeline Williams Beavers; and her husband Dan Allen Sasser. She is survived by: her daughters, Shanna Gurley (Steve) of Dover, NC. and Melissa Hoskins of Pikeville; her stepdaughters, Kim Guy (Alan) of Walstonburg and Kristy Sasser of Little Washington; her siblings, Tommy Beavers (Tammy) of Seven Springs and Renee Beavers of Oriental; her grandchildren, Jenny Cox (Justin), Taylor Cox (Billy), Heather Giuliani (Dan), Gabe Gurley (Allie), Nathan Gurley (Kimberly) and Luke Gurley; her stepgrandchildren, Dylan Costello (Abbey), Allen Walker (Casey) and Drew Walker (Sydney); her great grandchildren, Kaelyn Warren, Aubrey Cox, Adalyn Warren, Allison Warren, Addison Reinhard and Hayden Bradley; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lawson Walker, Lainey Walker and Adaley Walker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery (3888 US-70, Princeton, NC 27569).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Hope Center Ministries, 1175 Buck Swamp Rd., Pikeville NC 27863 in her honor.
