Davis (Ava) of Warrenton; his sister-in-law Towanda Crosson of Norlina; his nieces and nephews, Shannon Johnson, Nakia Burchette, Nastashia Headley (Anthony), Dominic Davis, Lance Jerman, Shermain Burchette (Tara) and Charlton Crosson; his cousins, Mamie Lee Kersey of Durham, Leonard Sledge (Janet), William Sledge and Carolyn Boyd (Eddie); and his close friends, Bobby Guzman, Elaine Simmons, Gerald "Rico" Collins, Kelvin Autry, Montez Simmons, Sheila "Ma" Blanks and Theresa Covington. He is also survived by four great nephews, two great-nieces.
