He is survived by: his wife Janice Rouse; his children, Brandon Rouse (Lauren) and Melissa Baker (Chad); his grandchildren, Rebecca Rouse, Andrew Rouse, Kamryn Rouse, Mikah Rouse and Brody Rouse; his pet Dash Baker; his sister Melony Brown (Larry); and his nephews, Matthew Brown (Jessica) and Christopher Brown (Makayla).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Faith Free Will Baptist Church (1200 W Grantham St, Goldsboro, NC 27530). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (107 N Forbes St, La Grange, NC 28551).
