She was predeceased by : her parents, Gary Howell and Nancy Barnes Howell; her husband George Taylor; her son David Taylor; and her brother Dallas Howell (Vivian) of Colorado.

She is survived by : her children, Gary Martin Taylor of Whittakers and Phyllis Davis (Mickey) of Pikeville; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Taylor of Kenly. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
