She is survived by: her sons, Tyrone Dowers of Dudley, McCallester Dowers (Ryoko) of Oregon and Henry Reid of Pikeville; and her sisters, Carolyn Smith (Chester) of Goldsboro, Gloria Peacock (Cecil Medlin) of New York and Isabella Reid of Goldsboro. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
